The Ranch NEW*

Looking out over the round hind end of my long time partner “Lightning”, gazing into the rolling hills of the very south of The Netherlands, the Dutch Mountain Ranch was located at the top of a hill of only 100 meters high, but ambitiously called “Bergstraat” or Mountain Road. The Nits made a song about these Dutch Mountains and our Paint Horses make them more colourful. In 2020 we moved to a town called “Kingswood”, but opted to keep the original name.

Our horses live outside 24/7 together in their small group. They have a paddock with solid footing and a large shelter a straw section for sleeping. They have unlimited access to hay and straw.

From around April-November, they move to a pasture nearby with grass, lots of trees and bushes. This is a perfect environment for mares to grow and have their foals, for the young ones to grow up and for the show horses to “just be a horse”.

We breed quality Paint Horses on a small scale. Our goal is to breed healthy, well performing and good minded Paint Horses for the All Around classes. To achieve this, we only use the best horses, the best bloodlines and actively look for longevity and good minded horses to breed with.

We show our horses locally. Our goal when showing is to show that it can be done with a horse that can be horse!
