HOT MISS TE SCOTCH (HOT SCOTCH MAN)

When looking for a broodmare we had quite a list of wishes:

– good pedigree
– well built
– performance record or produce record
– easy going personality

Misty did not only fulfil these wishes, she superseded them. She was the kindest and easiest horse I’ve ever come across and her produce exceeds all expectations. She never needed to be taught, she never made a “mistake”. She has a ROM in halter and started her career as a broodmare after that, so she was never ridden. We think exercise in moderation is good to keep broodmares fit, so we started riding her. In only a few sessions she was ready and we started riding her on the trail and we took our visitors and beginners out on rides with her. She cared for her foals very well.

She was 14 when she came to us, so she had most of her offspring with the previous owner.

Misty sadly passed away December 16th, 2019 at the age of 20, after making the Paint Horse world a better place. She is greatly missed.

Misty was born in the USA in 1999 and imported to France. She has a ROM in Halter. She had 6 foals before she came to us: all mares and all (red) dun. There's a separate page about her offspring.

In July of 1996, Hot Miss Te Scotch, became the highest selling horse ever in the history of the World Showcase Sale. This was topped in 1997 only by a granddaughter of Hot Scotch, JRs Onyx Affair.
